Kate Leland is a poet from Texas. She holds an MFA from The University of Mississippi and a BA from Hendrix College. She is the author of one chapbook, “I Wore The Only Garden I’ve Ever Grown” (Headmistress Press 2017), and the co-founder of Glitterary, a Queer Southern literary festival. Previously, she has served as an associate editor with Sibling Rivalry Press. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Hunger, Rust + Moth, New Limestone Review, and elsewhere. Kate currently teaches English and Creative Writing at Choate Rosemary Hall.
